MARLON BOONE is a saxophonist based in Tampa, Florida. He began his musical journey at age 10 in his hometown of Pahokee, Florida. While attending Bethune-Cookman University, he was a featured performer in the Marching Wildcat Band. During the last 17 years, he has perfected his talent across multiple genres of music. Traveling extensively, making concert and guest appearances, he has shared the stage with industry greats. His professionalism and business acumen makes him easy to work with, and effortless to approach. MARLON is known for his unique ear, stylish image, coupled with his ability to electrify the audience.
MARLON has opened for and performed on stage with industry greats: Pieces of a Dream, Saxophonists Kim Waters, Will Donato, Elan Troutman, Pamela Williams, Dee Lucus recording artist Howard Hewitt, Smooth Jazz Trumpeter Joey Summerville, Keyboardist Nathan Mitchell and many others. His talent is compared to the talent of late Grover Washington Jr., Kirk Wahlum and Richard Elliot.
