JazzinCase


THE PROJECT jazzincase has several meanings: "Jazz in a suitcase, not just Jazz" A design idea carried out since 2016 by a trio of musicians who perform original pieces or who rearrange, personalizing them, already well-known songs on the international music scene.


The jazzincase are: KikiOrsi - singer-songwriter / solo voice; Luca Tomassoni - bass / double bass / sound engineer and Claudio Trinoli on drums. Since the beginning, the path of jazzincase, which takes its origins from smooth jazz and pop, has been characterized by an ever-evolving musical experimentation that focuses on compositional evolution with particular attention to the content, to the message of the lyrics.


Always in search of new sounds, first of all maintaining the acoustic aspect to which they also add particular electronic elements. All this is performed, during their live performances, in a fun, empathic, emotional way involving the audience present. Mario Luzzatto Fegiz, in a review for Corriere della Sera (January 2020) about their live performance, among other things, says of their show: "a full jazz show!" and again "a jazz that blends various genres in a fascinating way" The digital release of the new album entitled "the Second" (Irma la Douce) is in November 2019.


It is preceded by the single "Beautiful Like Me (A Paper Doll)" of which you can see the video clip on the YOUTUBE jazzincase channel. Their first album "Bonbon City" (Irma La Douce - 2018) follows, in July 2019, the version by the well-known "Tuca Tuca" (contained in the collection "Cocktail Italy vol.2" Irma la Douce) arranged in Jazzy version by jazzincase in collaboration with Nerio Papik Poggi and the internationally renowned artist Ben Patterson at the Hammond The jazzincase project collaborates with musicians of the caliber of: Alessandro Deledda, Peter de Girolamo, Nerio Papik Poggi on piano / keyboards and arrangements; Carlo Maria Micheli, Eric Daniel, Giovanni Sannipoli on sax; Luca Scorziello on percussion; Toti Panzanelli on guitar, Massimo Guerra, Cesare Vincenti on trumpet and many others.
